My friend Thomas Balzer recently went to Malawi on a Documentary (that he is shooting) and he had an opportunity to drop by and visit with James and his business partner Henry in the wood market. James is in the yellow shirt and Henry is in the green shirt. Thomas is shooting the video. You can see where James works, he is one of many in the market. They are very competitive and yet they all work together and help each other out. You will see some of James marvelous goods that he sells and you will notice that this is an open air market (which is located in “Old Town” in Lilongwe) . The warmth that is possessed by James (and most all Malawians that I have met) , shine in this short clip as he and Henry decide what they wants to give to some people that have helped him in the past.
