Well it was brought to my attention that… what if….your main camera failed. It went south (so to speak) and you didn’t have anything to film with. Well
that was a worry. So I went out did my research and got this very tiny little Canon Vixia 1080P HD camera – and it is tiny! Loads of features and a very good picture. It has some built in memory and takes SD cards as well. Funny thing is that is I thought the that super fast class 10 cards that I have for the main Sony EX-1 camera would work great on this…but they don’t! They are too fast??? Seems like the camera likes a class 4 to class 6 card and doesn’t get a long with the class 10 cards at all! Weird but oh well I’ll live with it. So lots of 4 out of 5 star reviews so I felt confident that this would be a really good fit – both literally and figuratively speaking. It is sooooo small!
Got more batteries for it (they are really tiny too!) and I think that I am pretty much set for the whole thing – with the exception of rain cover for it. But I am going in the dry season so it shouldn’t be a problem…..right????
